I tellya, this time of year, when it begins to cool down around here and the heat of the summer is disappearing, the weather keeps us two outdoors, and not at the computer, so.....ya, I can understand your lack of keeping up; commenting!!! It becomes a chore sometimes and I think most people understand that visiting each and every day isn't possible!!
Hey Anni. Love the picture of the Turtle. I'm curious as to where Port Arkansas Texas is tho? Never heard of that place before. Next month in my hometown of Lepanto, AR, they are having their Annual Terrapin Derby. It's a big day where people that used to live there, come home and they have Reunions, a parade, vendors, and even a Street Dance that night. Around 4:00p.m. in the afternoon, they have a Turtle Race. They have a side street blocked off and they get alot of turtles from somewhere and people by tickets on them. They number the turtles and the first 3 that cross the finish line are the winners. We are planning on going this year. My Dad is going to be the Grand Marshall of the parade and the girls are going to be riding with him and my Mom in the parade. I will be taking pictures and will post them. All this happens on October 6. So, stay tuned. I never got into Mash. It never really interested me, but hubby used to watch it. Take care my friend and have a great weekend.
Teeheehee re your caption! BTW, have you been to Alcatraz? I've visited -- and didn't worry about having to escape as it was a guaranteed part of the visit! :D
Cute photo and caption...I am being a slug about commenting on blogs these days...trying to keep up is getting difficult at some times...

ReplyDeleteKaren H.
Port Aransas [Port A to locals] is just a hop skip and a jump from Corpus, about a 20 minute drive over the bay bridge to the islands.
DeleteWell it looks like it's going to be a clean getaway
ReplyDeleteLOL...probably so.
