A blond and a redhead pass a flower shop----
--- where the redhead happens tosee her boyfriend buying flowers.
She sighs and says, "Oh, crap, my boyfriend is buying me flowers again." The blond looks quizzically at her and says, "What's the big deal, don't you like getting flowers?"
The redhead says, "Oh sure, but he always has expectations after giving me flowers, and I just don't feel like spending the next three days on my back with my legs in the air."
The blond says, "Don't you have a vase?"

ReplyDeleteWhen I got married (nearly 32 years ago) a dear friend of my grandmother gave me a beautiful crystal vase. In the note on the card she commented, "A lady can never have too many vases." :-)
Happy Ruby Tuesday and thanks for stopping by. P.S. Hope the oil spill is going nowhere near you. I'm originally from LA and have family in Texas.
Sara That is why I rated the joke at the beginning...so not to disturb anyone. If you saw this rating, it's meant to be skipped over if it disturbs you - without commenting further I guess. Golly, 'family' TV and magazines and movies are far worse than this. Ummm, besides, your own MIND made it risque to be truthful. Not me. It was YOUR interpretation.
ReplyDeleteBecky Well, yesterday when Bud and I were at the beach, no oil slicks or remnants of it...I think it's all headed toward the north east. But, thanks for the concern.

Anni, Your hibiscus is absolutely gorgeous. I'm sure you're enjoying many beautiful blooms in your yard. We have iris, forget me nots and a few others. Coming up are primrose, hollyhocks and other green shots that show the promise of future blossoms. I've taken a few photos, but haven't felt like uploading them. Maybe in the next day or so.
