Haiku of the first 13 letters [A thru M] of the alphabet.

Traditionally haiku are three-line poems, the first and last lines containing 5 syllables, and the middle line with 7 syllables.

A

American folk
arrogance of social mass
always strut their stuff

B

Bourne as in Jason
being nameless yet supreme
building his ultimatum

C

cool days, lasting pleasure
comes the equinox
cornering the summer blues

D

dark stained wood imposing
drab; unfinished, plain
drastic grains enhance beauty

E

everything in its order
emits governed clout
except an impulsive quirk

F

feathered friends' songs delightful
faint trills and warbles
footloose and fanciful chime

G

gone the days of yesteryear
good times remembered
gratified living today

H

helping hands hints a value
holding ones hopes high
humanitarian's might

I

I think I can, can I think
instilled with instinct
I knew I could; perceptive

J

jolting repercussions blare
jostling limbs nearby
jerks reechoing thunder

K

kinsman, kinswoman; siblings
kindred and tribal
kinship with brothers, sisters

L

laughter brings felicity
like tickling the heart
love, joy, courts a rhapsody

M

maiden McGillicutty
married Ricky R
made her Lucy Ricardo
