“A wise old owl lived in an oak;
The more he saw the less he spoke;
The less he spoke the more he heard...
Why can't we all be like that bird?”

  2. Ah Scrappy! It's not the mashed in face, but those buggy eyes. . .but you're right, they're so ugly they're cute. I know a fawn Gracie that's a real fashion plate--she has outfits for all occasions.

  13. Good Mornin' Anni,
    Awwww, Scrappy is so precious. Such an innocent looks as well. I have always loved the look the pug dogs have. They are so unique in their own way. And a look only a Mother would love. "THANK YOU" for sharing it with us. You have a short post for today. I guess sometimes we all need a short post huh? LOL. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

    Love & Hugs,
    Karen H.

  18. Anni, you are very right with these cows. I saw the exhibition too they were all over Brussels in the streets and were very artistic and most of them very beautiful (we had horses too). But in this very small garden this cow just looks ridiculous ! If it would stand in a big yard I would never have shown it as funny !

  19. Gattina...now I understand. You're saying that the size of the neighbor's yard made it 'out of place'...gotcha!!!

  20. I've got a couple of friends who each have pugs. One of them let her daughter name their pug and she came up with "Biscuit Butterworth" which is just about the best name I've ever heard for a dog.

  21. Awwww- I could love a face like that too!

  22. Ah, yes, I've seen on in real life a long time ago too and they're, uhum, very special :-)

    Funny thing is, this little Pug actually thought he could decide over my former much bigger dog and take his food. His mistake. My dog just took him over the neck and lifted him away from his bowl with food, gave him a growl and ate his food. Every time they met after that, my dog just totally ignored the Pug. He was like air to him, just didn't see him no matter how much the Pug barked at him... *giggles*
