Lensball Shots [And my LAST Troll Doll]...

After cleaning my lensball, I placed it back in my car for future use in photography. While walking a short distance to the observation deck at Hans Suter Wildlife Sanctuary [too hot to be there too long], I grabbed my lensball and stopped to take some photos thru the globe. The sky was very impressive...

The cattails along the boardwalk were nearly expired. Several were breaking open to disperse the seed. But, against the blue in the sky, they were worthy of a photo or two:

I liked how the boardwalk railing showed unusual perspective and the beautiful cloud formation was magical:

As the sun broke from the clouds, I noticed in my ball that there was a rainbow effect [not a real rainbow] from the crystal refractive prism and then, I stepped a few paces further and tried to capture a single sunflower in the distance:

Tho, the images and the lensball photography is pretty nifty in all aspects, I've come to realize that I prefer making use of it for sunrises on the beach mostly!!  Once I made it to the covered deck, I saw that the water level was low, and only a minimal amount of active bird life was evident along the perimeter...gulls and herons, a couple of egrets and one of each; willet and skimmer. I left soon afterwards as the temp was soaring to the triple digit heat index; to the dangerous heat exposure.  Back to the car with A/C and then home where the room temp is more suitable than outdoors to be sure.

...I have come to the end of my troll collection...

  21. My Header is at _top_ of page.

    My present Header shows 'centered', because it is _filling_ the whole Header Space.

    I want to be able to put a pic, as my Header, that does _not_ fill the whole space. A pic that is less than the full 1037 wide... A pic, that if I used it now, it would _only_ show, at the left.

    What I need, is the simple Code, that I always used, to center any size pic, for my Header.

    I lost it.

    I imagine you know what it is though.

    All I found and use so far, is the Code, to center my Blog Name.

    Need the one, to center a not-so-wide picture.

    Please and thank you.

    1. Okay. I think I understand.
      Add this CSS code in the "advanced" once again.
      Remember, to find advanced add css...scroll down. Add this code and save!!!
      Now you should be able to change your image of ANY size & it will be centered.

      #header-inner img {
      margin: 0 auto !important;
      max-width: 100%;
      height: auto
      }

    2. If just this single css code doesn't work (It looks like your text is already centered)...try adding this instead:

      #header-inner {
      text-align: center !important;
      }

      #header-inner img {
      margin: 0 auto !important;
      max-width: 100%;
      height: auto
      }

      Delete
    3. #header-inner img {
      margin: 0 auto !important;
      max-width: 100%;
      height: auto
      }

      I added that. But it did not work. As you can see. My blog now has an only 900 width pic of cone flowers, but it is not centered.

      ???????

      Perhaps I will try adding it again... Make sure I clicked Save. thought i did but.... OK, I will do it again.

    4. #header-inner {
      text-align: center !important;
      }

      #header-inner img {
      margin: 0 auto !important;
      max-width: 100%;
      height: auto
      }

      I added the above. It is still not centered, in Header Space.

      But the Blog Name, is centered, on the picture, which still shows to the left.

      LOL

    5. #header image {
      display: block;
      margin-left: auto;
      margin-right: auto;
      padding: 0px;
      }

  22. Splendid lens ball captures! I love the two with the cloud formations that appear to erupt in the sky. The sweeping curvature of the boardwalk really catches my eye.

  24. No I don't know how to work with html.

    Can't seem to center a less wide pic. But that's ok. I remember when bloggers didn't care if their Header pics were centered or not. -smile- So I'll just do biggggg ones, which always look centered. Or smaller ones, which will be fine, to-the-left.

    Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
