He Needs a Beach Towel 'bout Now....

I have nothing much to post. No clever humor, no day trippin'.  No recipes or crafts.  And, I'm sure y'all are bored with my wildflowers and walk-abouts. I stayed home Tuesday to help with some yard work. And, now out of complete boredom at Anni's Abode [Bud and I worked in the rose patch this morning, ridding the ground of frozen from February's deep freeze Mother-in-law tongue]...ugly, slimy, frozen plants in among the roses, I thought this is a good time to upload the short video of a bird in the pond, bathing:

  1. That morning bath looks a little bit exhausting.

  6. So cute! Our backyard pond and waterfalls are up and running now, and it's nice to see the birds bathing. The robins especially make quite a project out of it.

  8. None of us, can have "Adventures" every day. Heck, I never have them! About as adventurous as our life gets, is going for Ice Cream Sundaes.

But I still pound out, nearly daily posts.

I many not go-go-go. But I sure think-think-think. And dig-dig-dig for information. Etc. Etc. Etc.

And to me, blogging is more about us, ourselves. Than about what we do.

OK!!! I'm rambling. LOL Time to close out. >,-))))

  10. Love the video clip. I was surprised at how long his legs were when he had finished his bath. Great capture.
I sure don't have much to blog about today either.
Yesterday the most excitement we had was the Home Physical Therapy gal taught us how to get in and out of the car so we can start out patient therapy at the hospital. Not too difficult but I'm sure glad to know how to do it properly...since it's just me myself and I doing it. I'm glad I have good upper body strength, especially lifting the wheelchair in and out of the car trunk.

    1. I wouldn't have realized there is a proper way to get in a car, but now that you mention it...

  11. I've never seen one so animated before! It can bathe better than I can dance. :-)

  12. Would you believe this is the first time I've ever seen a bird bathing? I never thought about it, but it would take work to clean all the feathers. Thank you!

  13. I love the video! He is really doing the shimmy-shake! Wish I could take a shower this energetically.

  14. Whoa that handsome bird has a built in spear. I how birds bath..getting wings all wet the beating them against their shaking tail feathers.

  15. Sometimes simply being outside has to be enough, doesn't it, my friend. I read in the news that Texas almost had to have another rolling blackout because of a short estimate on how much energy was going to be needed. Egads! I thought of you instantly, Anni. ~Andrea xoxo
