Seems I have to wait for the best to bloom last. My favorite Spring Flower is the daffodil. The all yellow [none of the hybrid colors...the original. ---the bud, seen 2nd down on the right or, 4th in the series]

ReplyDeleteIt was really pretty yesterday. A lot more blossoms.
DeleteThe first picture with the drops of water is so beautiful ... I love all the spring flowers!
ReplyDeleteAnd some smell so good!
A wee bit of rain fell early in the morning.
Deletetulips and daffodils. If that doesn't say spring, I don't know what does
ReplyDelete💐🌱💐💐🌱💐
DeleteHow beautiful! We love the cheerful daffies too!
ReplyDeleteI bet you do!! You two have the sunny disposition of Spring!!
DeleteYour tabletop garden is coming along cheerfully...so pretty and promising that life goes on in spite of the downfall's.
ReplyDeleteIt's something that brightens the day, to be sure.
DeleteIt is that time. I noticed daffodils reaching for the sun all over yesterday on my drive to town. Love them in a table top garden. A lot of ours are ditch residents here.
ReplyDeleteOh to see them along the roadside, would be SUCH a treat
DeleteI would love to have a pot of Jonquils, that is what we called Mothers. never even new the word daffodil until I moved in the Yankee Hubby
ReplyDeleteMy dad, the gardener he was, called them jonquils too...South Dakota native.
DeleteWhat beautiful photos and it sure looks like spring! :)
ReplyDeleteI wish spring would last thru the summer....hehehe
DeleteLove your pretty photos. I like the beads of water all lined up, and your gorgeous daffodils!
ReplyDeleteIt rained for a short time before I took photos of the blossoms.
DeleteBeautiful springtime blooms! It will be a long while before I see mine in my gardens.
ReplyDeletePatience. By the time you have spring flowers, we here will be cooking in the steamy days before summer even hits!
DeleteI totally agree! The large plain bright yellow daffodil is my very favorite spring flower. I have to wait a bit, though.
ReplyDeleteShare photos when they show!!!
DeleteA beautiful floral display with so much color! The King Alfred daffodil is my favorite. I was shocked to see daffodils emerging from the ground yesterday. Some snow still is covering the bed.
ReplyDeleteI will have to Google your preference of daffodil
DeletePrettier by the day. I like how the tulip's leaf protected the bloom at first! The classic yellow "countryside" daffodils are my favorites, too.
ReplyDeleteThey can't be beat by any of the hybrids!
DeleteHappy daffodils... what a gift of spring! ~Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteMost definitely!
DeleteDaffodils and tulips are two of my favorite flowers. Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBud likes tulips,
Deleteme?...prefer daffodils!
Oh I love daffodils too...yes the yellow ones only.
ReplyDeleteTrees around us are beginning to burst into bloom. Its such a pretty time of year but my nose isn't too happy.
Sue

All the best Jan
Seems to be a strong majority.
DeleteI love Spring flowers! They bring such joy and cheer when winter is done.
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
DeleteThese are all so pretty. It is fun to watch the plants grow aand produce flowers, whether in a tabletop garden or outside.
ReplyDelete...more fun outdoors in a garden, flower bed, or fields. 🌱
DeleteWe go out into the world in search of our dreams and ideals. We often put what is at hand in inaccessible places.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit.
DeleteMy favorite is the daffodil too! We had a bunch of them planted at our old house! I used to cut them and bring them in whenever I could!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, to be able to bring them indoors as a bouquet!!
DeleteOh my, how jealous I am of your gorgeous spring flowers. Mine aren't even peeking out yet. It's just 35 degrees here today! Your's are beautiful to behold! Wishing you a grand weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhen you have your spring we will be entering our days of "boiling" temps.
DeleteHi, me again. I love your canvas treatment on the pelican picture at the beginning of this post.
ReplyDeleteSimply lovely.
Sue
Thanks Sue!! I just "made it" this morning.
DeleteIt looks like Spring really is just around the corner. Love love your pelican. Will you share how you got that that feathered texture? Is that an oil? Its wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI don't have the URL here on my phone. When I get back on the computer I will make sure I tell you. Okay?
DeleteI just love your flowers. Now tell me how was it that you got the three large drops of water to stay still and not roll down into each other and vanish into a puddle. lol
ReplyDeleteNature's wonders.
DeleteLove your treatment of the framed pelican!!! It's one of my favorites of that particular app.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
