River Walk...aka "On Such a Winter's Day"

Okay, I'm all set. I talked with a representative yesterday morning and regarding hotspot for my phone that I get each month. That won't do since I use a lot more than that in HALF a month! But, with wi-fi, I can actually say I can connect from home, or ANYwhere, with a monthly allotment with my plan and not over use. So, with the help of the carrier's rep, I'm rolling in high cotton - so the saying goes. There is no way I could possibly use that amount of wi-fi's GB in a month's time. Even if Bud [which he doesn't] uses anything with wi-fi to connect to the internet to blog, etc. We also have unlimited data, text, and phone. I just wanted to make everything clear for myself and not come to find we're being charged extra by my faulty knowledge. There is no need to shut off wi-fi. Plans are different all the way around, and different carriers have different options. What works for others, may not work for me.

Now that I got that out of the way, I will share photos [including the hilly scene above, at the beginning of my post] from a river walk the other day when the sky was BLUE. As I type this up on Monday morning, we have another gray, yucky day.  But it's a calm, comfortable day.  I'm thinking March has arrived by a lamb.  Will it go out like a lion?!!  I photographed several birds that day at the pond, the river, the drip system and feeding stations; of which photos will be resized and shared on my bird photo blog in the future...

  1. Why the telephone providers are so complicated ... I don't know, but if you don't pay attention when you choose a subscription then you are screwed!
The sky looks very threatening! Beautiful pictures!

  2. Glad you got the wi-fi thing figured out.
Since it was cold and we got some snow here yesterday I considered that March came in like a lion. I'm just hoping for better weather as the month goes on :)

  4. Hello,
It is cold and windy here, so I would say our March has came in like a lion. Pretty scenes and images. Take care, enjoy your day!

  6. We are enjoying mild weather right now, and I had forgotten about the old adage of March coming in like a lamb, it will go out like a lion. Love your pictures and hope it's wrong! :-)

  8. Plans are very confusing. I watch over my hubby's phone settings now after he turned OFF wi-fi and watched YouTube constantly, using up our data allotment quickly and leaving us with a big, big overage charge! Once upon a time I could have easily identified those cattle you took pictures of - I think Brahmin and maybe a Charolaise cross??? They look very relaxed in the soft air.

  9. Enjoyed those shots of the Brahman cows. Love their ears. Don't see many in Arkansas--they were common in Florida. I would say March came in like a cranky lamb in my area. Not sure how that will translate at the end of the month. Could be interesting.

  13. So glad you got your problems solved, Anni. OMG, you know how much I hate technology. I probably would have turned the whole business off and been done with it. *haha* I'm not the most patient person when it comes to computers and connections and that sort of thing. One sign of problems and I bail out. If the husband didn't take care of the issues, we wouldn't even have a landline, I swear. :) ~Andrea xoxo

  18. Does it mean I am a little twisted because I like your twisted tree? lol I love river views especially in the morning when the birds and animals show up. Your cows look comfortable but not as happy as California cows. You will understand what I mean after watching the California Happy Cows Commercials on Youtube. lol
