“A wise old owl lived in an oak;
The more he saw the less he spoke;
The less he spoke the more he heard...
Why can't we all be like that bird?”

  1. A fun post! My first time going to the theater was a play called 'Two by Two' with Danny Kaye. Wow, that dates me! Everything's better in pairs, I think! xx Karen

    1. I'm always ready for double fun. But it's not a good thing to be #2. Of course, I've been called worse.

  6. Wow, all in TWOS! Did you snap these for this purpose, or have to go looking in your files? The Nutrias interest me the most. I have never heard of them! They look like marmots or rock badgers. Are they around your house? Are there lots of them?

    1. They've been in folders on the computer.
      The nutrias, have orange teeth, by the way. No, they're a swamp critter.

    PS - I don't think I told you but I showed the Dr I work with, (who is a huge birder and goes all over the world to see birds) you post about the Sooty Terns and the photos from your earlier post. He was happy for you - said he's never seen one himself.
