“A wise old owl lived in an oak;
The more he saw the less he spoke;
The less he spoke the more he heard...
Why can't we all be like that bird?”

Movie ThemeSong...a favorite

If I could talk to the animals, just imagine it
Chatting to a chimp in chimpanzee

Imagine talking to a tiger,

chatting to a cheetah

What a neat achievement that would be.

Movie Theme Song

photos have been posted before....two of chimp and tiger -a long ago trip to Brownsville, TX zoo. The third, the cheetah is a pencil sketch of mine.

  7. I think they would have plenty to tell us! I wish I could talk with my dogs so I could explain when we are leaving and returning, so I could ask how they feel and what hurts when I can see they don't feel well, so I could explain what the doctor is doing for them, and so many other things....

  8. I do love this song, it is such a fun song. Your photos are wonderful, up close shots. I haven't been to the zoo in years, I need to go, especially since I have a better camera now and could possibly get some decent shots.

    1. I love zoos. Thing is the closest 'good' zoo is nearly 200 miles away. Oh well, I can find that if I talk to my photos, they DO talk back. Thanks LHG!
