Got a good reason For taking the easy way out

"E" for...Evening Shades

Not much explanation needed for this photo other than I counted several birds in silhouette --other than the obvious pelican; several seagulls are shadowed atop light fixtures along the highway and the aura of the sun in a rainbow of soft pastels...this is taken beneath the JFK Causeway from the islands heading back to Corpus. There is an intercoastal turn-a-round underneath the bridge plus a fishing pier and tackle shop and boat launch....taken early evening long ago [picked out from my photo folders on my computer], I fell in love with the lavender sky hues along with the soft pinks of the sun, just before dusk fell over the area.

For the last two days, flu has taken over....I've been spending most of my hours in the day/and night, in bed!!!  Nasty.

  1. Sorry you have been under the weather - getting old is NOT for sissies! I am pretty exhausted with the bedside vigil, but hope that the end of that phase is in sight! Anyway, get well soon...love, love, love this photo! The light is gorgeous and I love the silhouettes!
