WEEKEND FUNNIES

..."So ask your doctor if Ci@lis© is right for you! You never know when you and your spouse might get the sudden urge to sit in separate bathtubs on the beach!"

Speakin' of TWINS...

Way down in dat old swamp known as Louisiana, Bubba's old lady had been pregnant for some time, and now the time had come. So, he brought her to the doctor, and the doctor began to deliver the baby. She had a little boy, and the doctor looked over at Bubba and said, "Hey, Bubba! You just had you a son!" Aint dat grand!!?" Bubba got excited by this, but just then the doctor spoke up and said, "Hold on! We ain't finished yet!" The doctor then delivered a little girl. He said, "Hey, Bubba! You got you a daughter!!!! She a pretty lil ting, too"....Bubba got kind of puzzled by this, and then the doctor said, "Hold on, we still ain't got done yet!" The doctor then delivered another boy and said, "Bubba, you just had yourself another boy!" When Bubba and his wife went home with their three children, he sat down with his wife and said,
"Mama, you remember dat night what we ran out of Vaseline and we had to use dat dere3-in-1 Oil?"
    She said, "Yeah, I do."
Bubba said, "Man, it's a damn good ting we didn't use no WD-40!"

There were these twin sisters just turning one hundred years old in St.Luke's Nursing Home and the editor of the Cambridge rag, "The Cambridge Distorter," told a photographer to get over there and take the pictures of these 100 year old twin biddies. One of the twins was hard of hearing and the other could hear quite well. The photographer asked them to sit on the sofa and the deaf one said to her twin, "WHAT DID HE SAY?" He said, "WE GOTTA SIT OVER THERE ON THE SOFA!" said the other. "Now get a little closer together," said the cameraman. Again, "WHAT DID HE SAY?" "HE SAYS SQUEEZE TOGETHER A LITTLE." So they wiggled up close to each other. "Just hold on for a bit longer, I've got to focus a little," said the photographer. Yet again, "WHAT DID HE SAY?" "HE SAYS HE'S GONNA FOCUS!"

With a big grin the deaf twin shouted out, "OH MY GOD - BOTH OF US?"

  1. Just watch a program on a suspended plastic surgeon from Belgium. He did a interview lying naked in his bath tub. Of course, he wasn't suspended for that LOL he was a quack.

  4. Good Morning Sweet Annie...
Oh my Gosh, let me get past that last little joke and I can type about the twins. Lordy, lordy that was sweet. I love it. Both of us? Ha! HA!

Love the twins. Those pics are absolutely beautiful. So beautiful. You have a great camera because you always have the best darn photos I have ever seen. I love the first one. Is that not cute? Thank you for sharing the twins my sweet, sweet friend.

Now that Cialis commercial is a HOOT. Just perfect for you to write about. You hit the nail right on the head. I have always wondered that myself when I saw that darn commercial. I think they are getting a little ridiculous with commercials anyway. A little inappropriate if you ask me. The grands asked about it one day.

Oh and the DW40 is the best. How cute. I have to show that one to Tony when he gets up. I am up and at'em early today. Worked hard in the yard yesterday and my body is feeling it today, so I couldn't sleep. Finally just got up.

I am still without a dashboard, and can't see Google Reader either, so I have nobody links to their blogs. It has been frustrating as heck. You would have thought that them being down for these days would fix it, sadly it did not.

I will stop by sooner, now that I have a comment on a post, I have your link again. I love you sweet friend. Talk to you soon. Many hugs and SO much love, Sherry

  5. It's that time of year again when our birds seem to proliferate. Isn't it fun to catch them before they fly away? I have a feeling that there may be many bird photos today.

  9. Hi Anni,

Thanks for the laughs. Cary'll like them too.

Sorry about all the stuff that you lost. I lucked out all the way around. I posted my WW post at 7:31 and Blogger took off everything that was posted at 7:37 or later. Then, I couldn't post on Thursday, so I got a day off. Then, I couldn't post on Friday morning, so I got another day off. I did post last night, and all was well.

I feel sorry for all of you guys who worked so hard and lost it all. Still, Blogger didn't do it on purpose to hurt us, and it effected those who work at Blogger too ... and as you say, it is free. I think they do a great job overall. There are so many blogs now; many more than there used to be.

Have a great weekend; I love your bird photos and look forward to your shadow shots.

    Take care,
    Kathy M.

  10. How fabulous that you were able to observe it all - from building the nest to the actual hatching. And now you can watch the joys of the new family together. I love that idea of seeing the full cycle. I hope they all thrive :-)

  12. TOO funny, Anni. The WD40 cracked me up!
Love your twin mockingbirds. I've never seen a mockingbird. The older I get, the more I want to see birds. I don't quite know where that's coming from, probably from blogging. Phil of "Just Another Bird Blog" in England has such wonderful photos, they make me cry.
Oh, yes, and I had to re-post my Thursday Theme Song this week (I liked it so much, and Blogger lost it, along with all the lovely comments. Sigh.)
