  5. Hi Anni ... I love this. The Gulf coast. Low waves, the ones in front brown with sand, and all the different shades of blue and white. You nailed it! The icing on the cake: the birds doing their job of flying around looking for a bit of lunch. Every picture tells a story, and this one really says it all. <3

    Thanks, Anni.

  23. This ocean makes me homesick for palm Beach where I grew up. It is still cold here in Virginia, and I’m so tired of it. The whitecaps are so inviting. Hope there are no jelly fish or sharks out there. When I was growing up, we never thought a thing about sharks. Not anymore!

    THE BEST WATER

    With water they say that the best
    Is clearest when put to the test;
    No sediment there
    To cause wear and tear—
    Pure water sure beats all the rest!

  29. Annie , I love to visit your blog! It is always about life and nature. The materialism isn't there that I see in so many other blogs!!
    My blog is all about my home and my love of thriftiness. So it appears I am very materialistic.
    However under all that, is love of nature and preserving what we have. So I don't like seeing things go to land fills. I get excitement out of repurposing something from its original use!! \
    I said all that to say this, your blog rocks!
