  6. I love the pose of the three turtles - as if they knew they were on camera! I would love to go on a walk with you someday in perfect weather - not hot, not cold! You know me - I'm kinda picky that way.

Love your beautiful look here these days.

  7. No soup for me please, thanks. Such cute ones they are. Lovely shot.

  8. How CUTE is THIS?!! Do I see TWO or THREE?.. Well, whatever the head count, I would have loved seeing these little guys up close!.. Hope you and yours had a vert Happy Valentine's Day! ~tina

  9. Great photo... love turtles but not sure about the soup!!!

  10. It looks like they are enjoying themselves.
    Great shot.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

  11. How cute...looks like Mr. Turtle is enjoying the warm sun.

  12. Anni, I really want to visit the Lakeside Park and see turtles, ducks and geese there...
    Very lovely view :)

    Thanks for dropping by

  13. My husband is a turtle lover from way back. When he sees a turtle crossing the road he will stop the car, get out and carry the turtle across the road so it doesn't get ran over. Isn't that sweet? Personally, I worry while he does this because a snapper can just rip his arm off. I adore your turtle shot too.

  14. I could tell Spring is here!! Had you tried turtle soup? I haven't but I don't know if I would lol!! Great shot! Thanks for the visit!

    Watery Wednesday

  15. I miss Hootin' Anni!!!!!
Your turtle is too cute. We should name him -Bud?

    Have a great Wednesday!

  16. Wow! That is really neat! I've never seen more than one turtle out anywhere before. LOL

    Happy WW!

  17. Those turtles are sure enjoying the sun.

  18. This picture reminds me of some turtles I took pictures of while visiting Florida.
    Thanks for sharing!
    Have a fabulous day!

  19. Turtle soup!! Are you serious! LOL! Lovely shot! Love the new rose look Anni! NICE!

  20. Just chilling out in the sunshine then.

  21. OOOOHHHH, you changed things around. Your blog looks great, Anni! Thanks for the pretty picture of Lakeside Park.

  22. What a sweet photo! I love photos of water and wild life.
I had to chuckle when I read that your occupation is "Senior Citizen". Hopefully you are enjoying the good life.
    Hugs, Cindy

  23. I've never seen a turtle gathering like that. an occasional one crossing the road, but not a party. I too really like the photo. all that green is luscious. happy WW Anni!

  24. They look like they're out sunning, the way they have their heads stretched right out! lol I love turtles and every time Steve & I go to Niagara Falls I make him bring me to the Floral Showhouse where they have a small pond with all sizes of turtles...I can sit there and watch them for hours. Not that they move much! lol Great photos my friend. Hey, it's 36F here right now, woohoo!!! xoxo

  25. I love seeing the turtles out sunning themselves. Great capture.

  26. Isn't turtle soup something Lewis Carroll wrote about? Oh, that's right, it was mock turtle soup.

Anyway, that turtle seems quite happy out of his soup and surveying the world.

I now have a new blog. As they say, change is a good thing...obviously it was time.

  27. I just love turtles!

  28. slowly slowly, I will get to the top.

  29. They look big, the turtles. Do they move about in a pack ?

  30. I think turtles are fun to shoot especially when they're crawling all over each other.

  31. Really? Did you turn that poor turtle into soup?

    Water here and water there,
    Water, water everywhere!
Some as hard as steel or stone,
    Some as soft as mousie bone;
Some as tiny drops of dew,
    Clinging to the ancient yew.
Where there’s water, life is there—
    Water, water everywhere!
