  6. I love the pose of the three turtles - as if they knew they were on camera! I would love to go on a walk with you someday in perfect weather - not hot, not cold! You know me - I'm kinda picky that way.

    Love your beautiful look here these days.

  13. My husband is a turtle lover from way back. When he sees a turtle crossing the road he will stop the car, get out and carry the turtle across the road so it doesn't get ran over. Isn't that sweet? Personally, I worry while he does this because a snapper can just rip his arm off. I adore your turtle shot too.

  24. They look like they're out sunning, the way they have their heads stretched right out! lol I love turtles and every time Steve & I go to Niagara Falls I make him bring me to the Floral Showhouse where they have a small pond with all sizes of turtles...I can sit there and watch them for hours. Not that they move much! lol Great photos my friend. Hey, it's 36F here right now, woohoo!!! xoxo

  26. Isn't turtle soup something Lewis Carroll wrote about? Oh, that's right, it was mock turtle soup.

    Anyway, that turtle seems quite happy out of his soup and surveying the world.

    I now have a new blog. As they say, change is a good thing...obviously it was time.

  31. Really? Did you turn that poor turtle into soup?

    WATER, WATER EVERYWHERE

    Water here and water there,
    Water, water everywhere!
    Some as hard as steel or stone,
    Some as soft as mousie bone;
    Some as tiny drops of dew,
    Clinging to the ancient yew.
    Where there’s water, life is there—
    Water, water everywhere!
