Port Aransas, Texas
Natural Reserve

For my Tuesday post, I had forgotten to mention that three years ago yesterday, at 7:30 a.m., I was "going under" on the operating table...having a heart ablation done. Tho I don't have my annual heart check-up until November, everything has been fine and dandy thanks to modern science, the electrophysiologist/cardiologist and hospital staff!! Here is the post after my hospital release...
What a dark bunch, lol!! Glad you are doing fine 8)
ReplyDeleteWOW HA I didn't know you even had that done. I'm glad you are doing well my friend :) Love the photo :) Have a great Wednesday :)

ReplyDeleteAs for the birds. I have seen cows do this. Must be some sort of meeting.
I always wonder when I see bird gather. It looks like it could be from around here.

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Annie Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful share this morning. Look at all of these gorgeous black birds just bathing and sunning away. I love this photo. You have such a way with the lens of your camera. I could sit and look and look all day at your photos.
The water looks cold, so thus the reason they are all roosting.
I hope you and Bud are well sweet friend. I am so thrilled to know that the dr.s kept your little heart to beating like normal. You are such a precious friend.
Many hugs and SO much love, Sherry
Neat shot of the cormorants, Anni!

ReplyDeleteI so miss going to Port Aransas every summer. We did it for years and years...but once my sister in law passed away and brother in law remarried, things were never the same. They have also moved into CC. Port A. was one of our favorite spots in the whole world. I miss it.....
wonderful to see all those birds there.
ReplyDeleteso glad the surgery helped you!
Thanks for stopping by my blog Anni.

They look like Hitchcock birds !
ReplyDeleteI remember three years ago ! Time went by so fast ! I am glad everything went so smooth for you !
Nice picture! The birds look neat sitting together like that. :-)
ReplyDeleteHello Anni,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you dropped by my blog earlier and left your link. It's been awhile since I've come visiting. A heart ablation! Wow. I like how you followed your doc's instruction to take it easy for 24 hours--a stroll through Lowe's and jalapeno poppers. I wonder what you'd do if you didn't take it easy. :-) I like your photo of black cormorants, by the way.
Su-sieee! Mac
This and That. Here and There. Now, Sometimes Then.
Cormorants looks great!
ReplyDeleteIt's always interesting to see birds lined up. Wonder what they talk about?
ReplyDeletePraying for a great check up in November!
Wow, good for you and wishing you more years of better health. Great post here.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are now healthy my friend.
ReplyDeleteHello Anni, and I hope everythings continues to be well with you. I enjoy your humor. Loved the photo of the cormorants.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting collection of different things! I particularly like the coffee table and the dining room centerpiece.
ReplyDeleteThose Cormorants are huge birds, wow! I've seen them on tv when I've watched wildlife shows but don't think I've ever seen them in person.
ReplyDeleteI just read your post from 3 years ago regarding having your heart ablation. I'm so glad to hear that everything has been fine since then and as you say, modern science is amazing!! xoxo
Great shot, they look like they might be gossiping about the one that didn't show up in time.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear all is still well, science is marvelous.
Congratulations on your third anniversary of wellness!
ReplyDeleteThe cormorants are having a convention -- funny I just took a similar picture here in Maine today -- I went for a walk and saw them enjoying the sun on an abandoned raft.
Why is there no date on your blog?
ReplyDeleteIt must be a favorite spot for the birds :)
ReplyDeleteWish you good health, Anni...
Thanks for dropping by
