“A wise old owl lived in an oak;
The more he saw the less he spoke;
The less he spoke the more he heard...
Why can't we all be like that bird?”

Today, for Show n Tell it's all decorations near and on the fireplace. I made it a skull island....

The first photo is the glow in the dark grim reaper -RIP- [above this is my chiming witch's clock]. Next, two black wine bottles with 3-D reapers' faces on each side of my 2x4 skeleton I made last year...next, a white porcelain lighted skull and to the left is a fiber optic skeleton head with chains and a felt hat...then, the next photo is of an alien skull [lighted] and a glow in the dark [eyes] skull. After that photo is all of the fireplace mantle, from left is the 3 foot Grim Reaper I made using a tomato cage wire frame---and dressed him...all covered with purple webbing..skull votive candles, a tombstone that lights up, a motion activated bone chimes, A flying creepy fellow along with ceramic and resin Reapers. The following photo is a close-up of the 3 ft. Grim Reaper's facial area. Spider in purple webbing, tombstone, 'hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil skeletons, a close-up of the facial 2x4 skeleton, and lastly----the hand blown glass votive candle burner---orange skull.

A Sleepy Hollow Somewhere in New York....

My Flash 55 Fiction:

His mind in turmoil.
From his hairline, sweat ran down
Recurring nightmares he battled...
Of a horseman who lost his head.
Nightly, his thoughts were rattled
of a rider atop a shiny steed,
haunting him,
as Ichabod approached the woods...
A Hessian's horrendous deed!
Is it? Was it? Only legend?
Residents know. Neighbors... of Tarrytown
!

  20. It looks very cosy in your home for the time. As Dracula's daughter I would like to visit, except there are too many skeletons and not enough fresh blood for me. I would prefer a crane filled with blood Group A- if you have please !
