HAPPY
BIRTHDAY
IRENE!!

She's my first born...and I need a hug. It's happening to me. I'm growing old and very sentimental just for the day! hehehehehe My baby....!?!?turns forty?!?! Uh-uh! I just can't believe this...it's happened. I've become a mother of a woman who's 4 decades wise, and she, in my mind, is still my baby in diapers. My little Irish lassie!! It seems so long ago, yet it also seems like just yesterday I held her in my arms, bringing her home from the hospital and nurturing her and saying to myself how unbelievably perfect she was/and still is! I created a human being from my womb. Now...she's my adult daughter. But in my eyes she'll always be my first baby...my first offspring created from love.
Where are you going, my little one, little one
Where are you going, my baby, my own?
Turn around and you're two, turn around and you're four
Turn around and you're a young girl going out of my door

    Turn around, turn around
Turn around and you're a young girl going out of my door

Where are you going, my little one, little one
Pigtails and petticoats, where have you gone?
Turn around and you're tiny, turn around and you're grown
Turn around and you're a young wife with babes of your own

    Turn around, turn around
Turn around and you're a young wife with babes of your own

    Turn around, turn around
Turn around and you're the young girl going out of the door

Where are you going, my little one, little one
Where are you going, my ba-by, my own?

  8. A happy birthday to Irene !
I think all mothers have this feeling, for us they will always remain our little children. My son turns 36 this year in August, that doesn't make me younger either, lol !

    Nice findings for U and V !

  16. Anni,

Michelle turned 40 in February, so I can relate. It seems like yesterday that we were watching their first steps, yet at the same time it seems so long ago.

Happy Birthday to Irene. I hope she has a wonderful day and many more happy years.

You did a great job wit "U" and "V." I don't think I'd have done near so well.

    Have a great day.
    Blessings,
    Mary
