  1. Anni,

I love the replica of the antique phonograph. It's awesome and the brass pitcher is lovely. Thanks so much for sharing.

I'm sure you were busy today. It was a hectic day for me and I'm hoping that Saturday is a bit calmer.

    Hugs,
    Mary

  2. I have a similar old pitcher, but in copper, and in dire need of a lot more than polishing!:-) - maybe I should have photographed that.

I had no idea what to do with this week's theme, so I'm afraid I did stretch it a bit:

  3. Dear Anni ~~ Love your pictures. MY son Geoff has a phonograph like that one and it plays. The pitcher is nice too. I enjoyed your post about the ironing board and like you, I rarely iron anything. The trick is not to put clothes in a basket, but hang them or fold them immediately.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments and I hope your days are all happy, my friend. I was surprised to know that your Bird of Paradise is blooming at the same time as mine. Considering our
    different seasons. Take care,
    Love, Merle.

I've fixed my "Bloggers Over 50" picture - now when you click on it, it takes you to the blog. Thank you for letting me know it wasn't working. I can't get the blogroll to minimize when I tried to add it, so at least the link works now. ;-)

  29. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Anni's place:-) Love it!! That replica of the old Victrola megaphone is beautiful as is the brass pitcher. I had a few pieces of brass years ago but I found it took too much work to keep them polished! lol Hope your weekend is a good one, dear friend. xoxo
