  1. This is a photo of a miniature Lighthouse, obviously, and an even smaller glass dolphin tipped in gold. The blue in the background is just a book I placed behind it because it's an open area between the two carved wood uprights...to show it off more. Otherwise it would have a busy background for behind it all is open kitchen

  3. I like the lighthouse. It makes me think about different movies I've seen that center around lighthouses. They give off such a mystical aura.

  14. Hi Anni, I like your lighthouse a lot. My sister would like it too, she vacations to find lighthouses. I don't know what she thinks of the ones we have here. She likes the one at Point (Port) Isabel, so do we!

  21. Anni,

This is absolutely gorgeous. I have a thing for lighthouses. They are symbols of light and have so much historical significance.

The boys and I bought Michelle an animated lighthouse a couple of years ago. She has her upstairs bathroom decorated in seashells, dolphins etc. The lighthouse's light actually works and it plays an audio of waves dashing against the rocks below and the call of seagulls. She loves it.

Take care and enjoy your day.
    Blessings,
    Mary

  30. Captain of ship to smaller boat: We see your light, please change your course.

Voice from smaller light: We see your lights, please change YOUR course.

Captain a bit confused: No, we are a ship. You must change your course NOW !

Voice from light: I suggest that YOU change your course IMMEDIATELY !

Captain in a very irritated voice: I Am the captain of this ship. I order you to change your course or there will be consequences for you.

Voice remaining VERY calm: Sir, change YOUR course or their will be serious consequences for YOU.

Captain: I am a BATTLESHIP, change your course !

    Voice: I am a LIGHTHOUSE !

  32. I thought it was against a wall backdrop, on a bookcase. After reading your comment so I know what it is, I'm guessing it's much smaller in scale than I thought (I was thinking the lighthouse was around 10 inches tall). Good choice in the blue book... it's reminiscent of the ocean, which goes with the nautical theme of the lighthouse and dolphin. *grin*

Thanks for dropping by earlier! Happy WW!

  41. Lighthouses are so charming! Great photo!

In answer to your question to my photo: They were for sale in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in an alleyway in Santa Fe Plaza. I photographed them coming and going as I was so intrigued by them!
