~Wordless Wednesday

~...end Wordless
[scroll down beyond my Wednesday posts to leave comment]

<><><>
Well, our voting in the Texas Primary is over. It was downright COLD in the morning as we stood in line early in the day. Someone said it was 36° F!!!! Lordy...no wonder I had the uncontrollable shivers. But, when we got home early in the afternoon the winds died down and it was very pleasant. In fact, I did some short visits with bloggers and then ended up spending the rest of the afternoon outdoors reading and soaking up the 'rays'!!!! Hey? Is this the weekend we're supposed to set our clocks forward again? Or am I dreaming? I really dislike daylight time switches. LOL

And a study shown here tells us all that with DST, we tend to use more energy! So, why do it to us and make our whole bodies suffer? I mean, personally, from the beginning way back decades ago, I saw no significant difference in the use of lights and such...'cause when it's darker in the morning, you use electricity/water/gas...etc. Either way, daylight savings time/regular time, I know I USE the same amount.

I saw this over at Skittles, and wanted to try my take. I'm satisfied...

You Are a Crossword Puzzle

You are well read, and you have a good head for remembering facts.

You are a wordsmith. You have a way with words, and you're very literate.

You are a mysterious person who enjoys dropping little clues every now and then.

  1. * * *YOU KNOW HOW YOU SEE commercials on TV or ads on billboards and they're black and white except for the product they're selling...and that is in full color? [Like sports drinks, etc.] Well, our two kitties are done in black and white, and I kept their most gorgeous feature, they're eyes, in color.

Wait 'til you see what I have tomorrow for my Thursday Thirteen...13 real *hooters* [NAH!! Not what you're thinking!!!]

I'm a Crossword Puzzle too ... wordy I guess. LOL

  6. Hey Anni...I have not been around much lately I know. We left last Saturday and are in Cold Illinois. I know you thought you were cold today BUT it was in the low 20's here today with freezing rain and snow. I think you will agree that we were colder. Tomorrow we leave to go to our daughter's in Northern Illinois. We have to get home Sunday...Sandy

  10. Cats in a box: I don't like it.

Its just step one in a four step plan for total feline domination.

    Beware those who purr!!

  12. Good Morning Anni,
I love your cats and I love the look of Black & White with the colored eyes. The Cat in the box looks surprised and the White cat looks as if looks could kill. LOL. It was cold here yesterday also. We even got a tad bit of Snow. Nothing major, but it was some Snow. It only got up to 34 degrees and that was late yesterday afternoon. I hope the Texas Primary went well for you. I just hate standing in lines tho. That's one reason I don't like living in a big city. No standing in long lines unless you are at Wal-Mart. LOL. We have to set our clocks up an hour early this coming Saturday night before you go to bed. I had having to set my clock up an hour earlier. I lose and hour's sleep. LOL. I wish they would just leave it one way. I'm like you, I can't tell any difference except for my sleeping. I guess this is just another way for the Government to spend or blow money. LOL. I think our Puzzle fits you to a T. Here is what the puzzle said about me.

You are a complex person, although at first glance you seem quite simple.
Your personality is comprised of many interesting and distinct pieces.
You are captivating and often visually interesting. You can be seen from many angles.

I guess it's a bit true about me. I always enjoy doing these sort of things to see how close they are about me. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

    Love & Hugs,
    Karen H.

    I took that test:
    You Are Sudoku
You are simple, modern and elegant.
You're not that difficult to figure out, but very few people truly get you. You approach the world with a pure logic that most people will never grasp.

    Now you know it!
    Have a great Wednesday !!

  33. WW post - hilarious; It's in the 70s and 80s here; and, based what I've read about you in the past, that puzzle seems to fit. I think I'll play...BTW: I don't know if you remember me, but I'm Rhonda. You made a special tag button for me. I call myself Chuck now...just to be different. I haven't seen you in so long, I tho't maybe you didn't realize it was me. Just an FYI and a hi :) Have a grand day!
