“A wise old owl lived in an oak;
The more he saw the less he spoke;
The less he spoke the more he heard...
Why can't we all be like that bird?”

About | Theme: SHADOW[s] | Roll

Hey, cool! Several weeks ago I suggested this subject; shadows. Thanks TNChick, for 'listening'.

Shading and the contrast of darkness and light are always good for photo compositions....We bought this clay Aztec Sun/Moon in Old Mexico about 12 years ago and moved it from our home in Arizona and hung it up in our backyard here in Texas. It's a bit 'out of place' for our 'watery' 'fishing-village' landscape now. Maybe the closeness of Old Mexico still makes it okay I guess --LOL. I thought with the moon and the sun, and it creating a shadow on the fence from the real thing was appropriate.

  46. Nice picture and nice idea, I too am glad TNChick listened to you.

    I lived in AZ for 12 years and this time of year it's NOT a dry heat...the humidity is unbearable.

    Happy hunting.

    By the way the humidity won't be here andtil the second part of August and September, right now it's just wonderfully hot (if you can believe that term)and still very dry.
