More of My Sketching...

This week's been a bit too quiet already and it's only Tuesday. The heat is on...index numbers beyond the century mark, and not showing any signs of letting up. I will survive, but not liking it much staying home. Guess it could be worse. In other words, I have not much to blog about these days, so more of my pencil sketches? Here are four....

Northern Gannet

Blue Jay

Roseate Spoonbill

Black Bellied Whistling Duck

  12. How wonderful to have such a talent in your hip pocket to pull out and enjoy. What an interesting creature the spoonbill is. Kind of looks like it was made from spare parts.

    1. Every summer...an inferno. But for me, even tho I complain, I'd much rather live here and be uncomfortable than to live where there is snow on the ground from September to May like we had in the mountains of Colorado.

  21. Always enjoy your artwork Anni. The photo of your Black crowned night heron is a stunner. Love those red eyes. It's been in the 90s here and we had the loudest thunderstorm last night that woke us up at 2.00 a.m. There were flash flood warnings in our area yesterday and more rain is on the way over the next few days. Enjoy the rest of your week :)

  22. Hi Anni. Put my name on that billboard. We must stick together and call out this BS for what it is. Meanwhile your sketches got a whole lot better. That Gannet especially has so much attitude.

    1. Thanks Phil! The PC world is truly in sorry state. I really get p'o'd reading stuff like all the renaming. We could start a war on just that alone.
