“A wise old owl lived in an oak;
The more he saw the less he spoke;
The less he spoke the more he heard...
Why can't we all be like that bird?”

Honoring Run *A* Round Ranch ...

This post is reminiscent, and in honor of  Ms. T's Whistlers on Wednesday.

G'Day Bloggers!!

This particular morning the sky was dappled with puffy clouds, the humidity was high, the air still, but with rain threats later.
It sprinkled a bit while we were gadding about along the shoreline of the Gulf.
It promised to be a beautiful day. After our walk, we drove home taking the back roads through a little town of Flour Bluff [a suburb of Corpus Christi]. I was in search of some fences to photograph. I had Bud pull over near this large pond along Ramsfield Road and got out with the camera. Killing three Birds Memes With One Stone [tho kinda inappropriate jargon for such a post]...not only whistlers, but whistlers on a fence, plus the lower reflections of a fence on the pond...

  3. Birdies! Birdies! Birdies!
    You know, I was never a watcher, until my sister (who you somehow remind me of...), 'introduced' me to them, and still I took no notice, but it sank in slowly *grin* and you with your amazing pics, have completely "converted" me, hee hee hee
