Got a good reason For taking the easy way out

Thar's gold in them thar hills!!!

We are back home in Corpus Christi from a three day trip into the Texas Hill Country. Beautiful area of the state, it sure is!!! Autumn Foliage --so gold-- was near its peak....and the pine. And, we saw a lot of good stuff....mostly historical of course. But oh so neat. I'll tell'ya all about it when I get my stuff done....

As soon as I catch up with laundry, photos and getting the house decorated for the Christmas Season, I'll be back to blogging. In the meantime, if you haven't seen my little 'frosty' the gnome-man I made prior to Thanksgiving, check out the post below this!!!

Hope y'all had a great week and are looking forward to a good one yet to come!!!

  4. The Hill Country is my favorite area in Texas. We'd go there every April to see the Texas Bluebonnets (and other wildflowers) in bloom. Have great memories of that area!!!!! Sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving...

    1. ...there is more to the Hill Country besides the blue bonnets. You can see those just about any part of the state. But, yes, anytime in the Hill Country is memorable.

  5. Anni, Love the Frosty gnome. You are such a talented lady.

So glad you had a great time with Erik.

I couldn't take hubby out of the hospital at that point because his blood was way to thin. However, he is home now and feeling a little better today. It's a rough haul.

    Blessings,
    Mary

  11. You are lucky Anni, I never seem to get out to see any place the leaves change until they are just piles on the ground. By the time I get home to Ohio for Christmas, every tree will be bare! And hopefully snow on the ground.

    Take care,

    Chuck
