Got a good reason For taking the easy way out

playin' 'round with a desert scene...

...another time I'm not quite wordless... scribbler creation I drew from the online site and saved. My rendition of the Sonoran Desert in the American Southwest after a monsoon rainstorm where the water runs free across the parched landscape. If you go and try your expertise in this, sometimes, I have found out, it's difficult to save your work. If you find that you can't save it, there is an alternative, do a screenshot then open it in your paint program and resize it if needed, then save it.

  3. That is a pretty awesome scene! I just get so confused when I try to figure out how to do anything other than the basic stuff...so I just don't try! I did find a program on my iPad that would turn the kids photos into "soft-sketches" which I have done - and rather like the results.

    satisfied here...

  5. Wow! It is spectacular, Anni.

Sorry I have been remiss in visiting, but summer has been swamped with both business & family this year. Stay with me, I'll be back more soon.

    1. ....I've always had an interest in art and sketching, but only started with enthusiasm after we retired. I used to draw faces on sketch paper while the kids were napping as youngsters. The 'crafty' part of my art was when I was single.

  17. I was pleased to get your reply and
looked for an email to send you some
more info on me.. I live in Clearwater, Fl
for now. Did live ,Corpus for a few years..
I've been everywhere over my life and I think
I'm staying here because it's a bit like
paradise but as I said, much too hot in the
    summer!
    Thanks again

    1. ...sorry, I don't have my email visible, but I'm sure glad you responded to my inquiry. I live in Corpus Christi TX now....re-retired here from Tucson...got sick of the hot white skies in the summer there, and wanted WATER. LOL In my opinion, we have to pay for living in a tropical paradise surrounding with the hot summers. I'd rather have the summers we have than the harsh, blizzardy winters other contend with any day.
