Between the mainland and Padre Island the open waterway is called LAGUNA MADRE *pronounced la GOON ah MAH dray [in English: Mother Lagoon] The piece of land near the top right horizon is Padre Island.
How beautiful! I love all those wildflowers and I especially love how you did the before and after. Awesome! Have a fabululous day, Anni! And Thank you for always stopping by and leaving your comments! I love hearing from you! Debbie's Travels
Beautiful shots!!! I love that name, Laguna Madre. I am in east Texas and have never been to Padre Island. I seriously think I will pack up my camera and head that way this summer. Have a great day!
Hi Anni ... wow! Breathtakingly beautiful. Postcards or framed prints that sell for hundreds! I wish that I was there to see everything in person. I also really liked the pelican photos, and your background/header (I saw them the other day, but I don't think that I told you.)
I appreciate you stopping by to visit. Have a great rest of the week!
Ooooh, such wonderful patches of wildflowers!! I can't wait to see flowers growing around here. Actually the snow finally melted from where my flowerbeds are at the front of the house and I have tulips, crocuses and daffodils coming up about 3 inches! Woohoo! lol Now if the rest of the snow would melt I'd be all set:-) xoxo
