Our dear Winston, wants to be part of the spirit of the holidays I guess. He thought it best that he try to get as close to the gifts as possible. Yet, maybe he was trying to tell us something. Either he's laid claim to this gift, or he's insinuating that we not forget his gifts....he knows which stocking is his, and he may have been implying that all gifts that he touches, or lays on, is his....and he wants the stocking filled also.

He purzzzz to the big guy in the red sweat suit with the belly that shakes like jelly ---he was a GOOD Boy!!!

But....would he look at me when I turned on the digital? No!!! Was he embarrassed to have been caught at his antics? Yes!!!!

  2. Embarrassed? A CAT? I never heard of such a thing! I didn't think they came with a conscience! I'm sure he's laying claim though! My two USUALLY just do that... lay under the tree... occasionally bump a ball off... but this year they have MENACE on their mind! They've been UNwrapping gifts and BAPPING balls! I keep telling Kitty he's too OLD for this behavior -- but apparently he's having a midlife crisis and needs to find his youth again... *sigh*....

    MERRY CHRISTMAS ANNI!!!

  8. Anni,

Winston looks very comfortable laying on top of that present. I think someone is out of luck. He has claimed that present as his favorite place to snooze. ;-)

Merry Christmas to you, my friend. I dropped in to see watcha was up to. lol

Jordan called this morning and said, "Whatcha doing, Grandma?" That tickles me. It's just the way he says it.

Merry Christmas to you and Bud, dear friend. My wish for you is much love, laughter and joy. May 2009 bring you abundant blessings, good health and prosperity.

    Hugs,
    Mary

  17. Looks like he's deigned that present as HIS! hehe Isn't it funny how they won't look at the camera? Every time I come to take a picture of the strays I'm feeding, they turn away too! lol

May Peace be your gift at Christmas and your blessing all year through! Merry Christmas to you and yours, dear Anni! xoxo

  18. Nope! No such thing as an embarrassed cat! More than likely plotting his next move, though... and absolutely laying claim. Haven't you heard the "Feline Dictum"? "All things belong to the cat(s). If I'm sitting on it, it's mine. If I rub up against it, it's mine. If I touch it, it's mine. If I look at it, it's mine. If it's yours, it's mine."

Merry Christmas, Anni, to you and yours!
