Well, Tuesday being 'trickster's day' for all you April Fools out there, I just wanted you to know, I got 'had' twice. Dear Man o' Mine got me pretty good. I showed him the photo of our daughter's baptism from my blog yesterday morning and asked:
"Do you know who this is?"

He looked sincerely puzzled, blinking his eyes and leaning over the back of my chair, and said:
"No!" "One of your blogging buddies' baby?"

I took him seriously and was completely flabbergasted. Then, I turned from the monitor and looked at him in a very strained way, thinking to myself, 'you've GOT to be kidding' ---by the time my eyes made contact with his eyes, his dimples became quite visible with his grin. The turd!!!! Of COURSE he knew who it was!!!

Then, Sharon, she comes to my blog and leaves a comment for me in the morning. Telling me I had just missed her day's blog entry. I, in turn, clicked on her link and lo and behold she decided to quit blogging. Much to my dismay!!! I read her explanations of her decisions and was just about ready to tell her in no uncertain terms that she will truly be missed and I was devastated that she would no longer blog.........

She then added a line after scrolling down to the comment link ---"April Fool's!!!"

:::sigh::: Yep, I'd been had. She got me good. How many others fell for her joke I wonder?

Okay, so I could not NOT end the day without doing a trick. And I waited 'til the right moment. I was in the kitchen, by the sink, and hubby was at the table, reading the newspaper for the day---I inhaled deeply hoping he would have heard me, tore off a paper towel, came around the room divider and said as I was looking down near the corner of the room [where it's quite dark] and said:

"Oh my!"

He moved the paper, looking down on the carpet where I was looking following my vision movements and me chasing towards him with my paper towel saying:

"Look at the size of THAT cockroach would you."

He immediately lifted his bare feet up on the table's leg support and said as he was looking in all directions ---

"Where?" "Where is it?" He was primed and ready to move out of 'harm's way' at any moment.

I quickly walked toward him as if to pounce on the roach any time now!..........

And tweaked his nose with the paper towel..."April Fool's"

He said ---"Funny, real funny!"

[he hates.....#$@!$!!roaches, not to mention rats, but that's a whole other story to tell someday]
