Next week "metal"

[the photos here, can be enlarged to 640/480 in pixels]

I had the opportunity this week, while doing some yard work, to find a special one for the week's "I SPY" theme. In the rose bush box in our back yard...there was a Green Anole [a small gecko-like lizard] crawling around, and watching every move I made to make sure I wasn't a threat to his surroundings.

But here are two photos. Both in our backyard. The first is what I saw in 'natural human vision of normal distance'. A small lizard. [a third photo has been enhanced...later; down the blog entry a bit]

Can you spy him?

If not - scroll down...there's the clued photo to outline just where he is.

And my 2nd entry is a whimsical 'figure' hubby stashed in the stone, raised flower garden. It's of a fairy-like creature that comes to life --a TREE dude! LOL He is solar powered [or more specifically I should say he WAS solar powered, the growth now keeps him 'hidden' day AND night] making his eyes light up!!

Now for anyone needing assistance in locating the hidden anole........

  59. Anni,

I am a little late getting over for my visit today. Enjoyed your photos. You have such lovely plants.

We have had 3 wonderful spring-like days here, but I'm not expecting it to last. We can get any kind of weather here during March. I do hope I'm wrong. I have a touch of spring fever and it's going to take some time for all of our snowbanks to disappear.

    Have a great weekend.
    Love and blessings,
    Mary
